I hate to be the one to break it to you, but the car in Japan that's based on the exact same platform as the US Accord is called the Inspire. And it has exactly the same interior as the US Accord (with right hand drive, of course).And I agree wholeheartedly with other posters that the gen 8 controls are very well organized and easy to use. The knee jerk reaction of "look at all those buttons" does a real disservice to the design, at least IMO.And BTW, the car that will be named the Accord in Japan is, if history repeats itself, the same car that's sold in Europe as the Accord. And it won't have the interior that has been posted as the "Japanese Accord's interior" either... that's the last generation, which will be replaced for the 2009 model year. Here's a link to the Euro spec Accord's interior, which should be the same as the Japanese spec Accord. As you can see, it look much more like the gen 8 US Accord's interior than the pictures that have been posted.
