Any thoughts on the 8th Gen Civic (06-08) vs. your 7th Accord? I'm looking into both (sedan/LX/4cyl/5spd) and it's a toss up. Civic obviously gets better MPG, but not a whole lot more. Insurance would be about the same. 0-60 times are close. I'd like some handling/acceleration performance, but not enough to look into an Si and I don't plan on modding the car much or at all. I have two young kids, but >90% of the time my car is just my daily mixed city/hwy commuter. Current car is a 02 Accord SE. Long trips with the family are handled by our Sienna.
