This weekend I'm planning on changing out my stock speakers for some from Infinity's Reference line. I really like the look of the factory head unit, so it stays. The plan is run 3-way 6x9s and 2-way 6.5s from a Autotek 100.4 4-ch amp. I'm aware that I should expect to do some cutting in order to fit the 6.5s, but there are a few other questions I can't quite figure out:
Can I keep the factory tweeters and crossovers and simply switch the door mounted speaker? If not, I would buy a component set, but then how do I remove the factory tweeter?
I'm going to use a 4-ch LOC, will this just require each of the factory speaker level outs to be cut and fed individually?
