The filter is a "sock" that covers the fuel pump pickup in the gas tank. It is not a serviceable item. The entire unit must be removed and a new sock put on. Honda has no replacement mileage for that filter, it is supposedly lifetime.

Depending on the cost.. I'd say give it a try.. The wheel bases should be the same.. so I don't see how the mufflers hang being a problem.. which would be a concern to me.
