From what I inderstood PZEV does't mean better MPG just lower emissions. I think the 40+ MPGs people are getting are from different hypermiling techniques used... 40 PSI tires NICE-on NICE-off for a better description and more acronyms than you can shake a stick at see cleanmpg.com
