engine from the MDX
(Preview)
I was just thinking the same thing... The saturn Vue V6 Uses a Honda 3.5L V6... Probably a detuned engine from the MDX. Only reason why I know was when I went to the auto show in motion last year, the GM guy told me about it... It even drove like a car! Made me want to get one for a good day, then I came to my senses...

2006 Rear End Comparison
(Preview)
Hey All, I just purchased a 2006 EX I4 5M Graphite Pearl Accord and so far, love it. I have been reading on different threads about the people comparing the rear end of the 2006 to other vehicles and I thought it would be interesting to see which is the most common. Personally, I really like the new rear com...

Good name for your van. So, what's gone wrong with it so far? Have you been tempted by the last of the new 7th generation Accords? You could, perhaps, trade in your van on a vp or even se?

1-2K under INVOICE around these parts
(Preview)
You should go find a high volume dealer. EX and EXL routinely go for 1-2K under INVOICE around these parts...and that price you quoted is not even at invoice yet. If you wait for the 08's to start rolling in you'll get an even better deal. I mean come on, with the 07 Camry and 07 Altima, and the new 08 Accord c...

honest driving the automatic
(Preview)
I've had it since the middle/end of Feb, I like it a lot but it has had its share of problems already. It's got great low end torque (dunno why so many people complained about weak low end), just the tranny holding it back. To be honest driving the automatic is a lot more work than driving my stick Accord, wi...

disc brakes
(Preview)
I'm willing to bet you could get a new EX 5spd for 19K easily. 17K is just ridiculous...you can get a brand new VP for that price and you'd be missing what a sunroof, a couple of disc brakes, alloys, 6 disc CD changer? But you'd get a brand new car! There is retaining value, then there is just plain dumb. I wou...

"retaining their value"
(Preview)
I actually kinda like the look, including the body kit and tails, and I'm definitely not partial to sedans... That's some pretty decent mileage, to boot. I got my '03 EX (no leather, no MT, no XM, no NAV.. wait, why did I buy it?) for the same price... but that was 2 years ago and with only 25K miles; so they a...

bulb for parking lights
(Preview)
1. Yes. Pretty much plug and play. Some modding to the s2k covers needed to be done. The stock housing has one bulb for parking lights and turn signals, the Inspire housing has 2. The light sockets are from an 04 TL and from an 02 Accord. This just required soldering some wires to those light sockets and th...

Are you sure about it being RHD? Usually JDM lights or Inspire are for Left hand Drivers since they come from Japan, and are Japanese Spec. If they were RHD i'm pretty sure people would be jumping all over these thinks. I hope i'm wrong about this, because I would order one like yesterday/

Your sig says you have an EX right? I think one of the wires for the autodimming mirror might be an ignition on wire. I'm not sure tho, it could be an acc. on wire, but I know that my mirror turns on when I flip the key, should do just fine for what you need.EDIT: Crap, I read that wrong and missed the sunroof SWI...

blue LED's are a very poor choice
(Preview)
What's it to you if I did have it all open to show the blue that I want, monkey boy? If you weren't a ricer yourself, you wouldn't have gone with the blue inside your car in the first place. If you claim that you want a brighter light, blue LED's are a very poor choice anyways. So if you don't know the answer to t...

Red lighting is actually a very good choice
(Preview)
Red lighting is actually a very good choice for preserving night vision. Most fire apparatus are equipped with both white and red interior lighting for this reason. But like blue, red lights have a distinct disadvantage: Any red printing on a map vanishes when the reds alone are used. Not sure about g...

change regular map lights

So if I got this straight, you went from a regular dome light that was bright enough to light the car, and changed it to blue. Then the blue was not bright enough to light the whole car, meaning that the white --> blue gives less light. So then the idea is to change regular map lights to blue to help light t...

Thanks Benji, for pointing out the obvious. If u're gonna change the bulbs in your car, u might as well do it completely, not just partially. There's not really any point to changing any bulbs at all, except to make it look fancy, and if you say it's useless to change the vanity mirror lights, well, it's j...

LED's in the map lights

Well do you drive around with your door open? Then why are you replacing all those lights? You use the vanity mirror lights to look for something or read something, but you put blue LED's in the map lights, which is actually what most people use to read things...like uh, read a map maybe...hmmm

accord on V6P
(Preview)
I thought with those leds the interior would be brighter. I saw another accord on V6P that the blue leds lit up the entire car. I'm thinking of doing the hyperwhite leds and maybe a blue led for the dome, since I can just turn it on for display and leave it off for daily operations.

map lights and door lights

Good job I understand that LED's only work at a fixed voltage, so there's no question with map lights and door lights, but regarding roof light, how do these leds perform with the dim effect? I mean, when door is closed the light is not turned off, it is dimmed gradually, so do leds have the same effect or t...
