I'm no camera expert... but to answer ur question to the extent that I understand, is to know the composition of light in your light source... i.e. to correct for headlight and taillight, they are filament based, and you actually get a spectrum of colour coming out, but it will be red dominant....

I would suspect that this may not work correctly unless the USASpec adapter knows how to disconnect itself from the bus when its not in use. This has been the problem with most Aux in adapters and Xm to date. If you go for it and it works let us know.
